Kick off Father’s Day weekend by teeing off in our Captain’s Choice Golf Tournament! It is more than just a great day on the course, it’s a chance to make a real, tangible difference for wildlife that have no one else to turn to. Every swing you take helps provide lifesaving medical care, rehabilitation, and a second chance at freedom for the 2,800 wild animals we treat each year, from majestic Bald Eagles and elusive Bobcats to vulnerable songbirds, turtles, bats, and even endangered and threatened species. Your participation directly supports the food, medical supplies, habitat enclosures, and expert care these animals need to heal and return to the wild where they belong. Join us for a fun, meaningful day that drives real impact because when you play, they get a second chance!

Special appearance by Miss Virginia who will also sing the National Anthem!

• 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Registration inside in the ballroom

  • Meet some of our Wildlife Ambassadors (Red-tailed Hawk, Great Horned Owl, American Kestrel, Broad-winged Hawk)

  • Free range balls on the driving range

  • Silent Auction

  • Purchase (everything below is included in the corporate sponsorship packages):

    • $10 = Entry to the $10,000 putting contest and get a photo with Miss Virginia

    • $5 = 1 Raffle Ticket

    • $20 = Chance to Shoot the Golf Ball Cannon

    • $5 = Mulligan (max 4 per team)

    • $5 = 1 Forward/Red Tee (max 4 per team)

    • $5 = Extra drink tickets

• 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Lunch Catered by Hidden Valley Country Club (Baked BBQ chicken, pulled pork, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, cobbler, ice cream & toppings, water, sweet tea, etc…)

• 12:30 p.m. Shotgun Start (all golfers start at the same time on different holes around the course)

• ~5:00 p.m. – $1,000,000 shootout takes place at the conclusion of play

  • The 4 people closest to the pin on the par 3s qualify to take 1 swing from 165 yards out on the fairway of #18, if they make it, they win!

• ~5:15 p.m. – Happy Hour on the patie with awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, closest to the pins and long drive prizes, raffle prize!

All 4 people closest to pin (3, 7, 11, 15)  win a Dicks gift card AND a shot at a $1,000,000 dollars in the shootout!
