Kinner
A wonderful Mother’s Day gift arrived in the form of a note yesterday. Through the years we have trained interns how to rehab wildlife, hoping each would leave with an appreciation and respect for wildlife. Now, many are working with wildlife or in Enviromental fields. Yesterday, I received the following note from Kinner Ingram, a former intern.
“As of about 15 hours ago I accepted a position as Law Enforcement at Leesylvania State Park. I would like to thank y’all for the discipline and responsibility that you all have helped me gain while working with you. I can say with total confidence I wouldn’t be who I am today without you ladies. I am thankful that you all gave me the opportunities that you did. A piece of me will forever be with you all and the wildlife center. I’m not yet sure if I’ll be at the academy this summer or next spring but whichever it is I’ll be by to help when I can. I thank you ladies again. I love you all!”
Congratulations Kinner! We are so proud of you and there is always a place at the center for you too.
