Red fox

I am angry! This red fox kit is an orphan and was left to fend for herself after the parents were shot by a private citizen. The adult foxes were killed because they ate chickens.
The kill is considered legal since they were a nuisance. The kit’s sibling was then run over by a car. If everyone dealt with wildlife with a swift bullet or toxins without thought for their survival we would not have any left. There are ways of humanely dealing with wildlife. Humans are suppose to be stewards of the earth. We cannot continue to encroach into pastures, wetlands and forest without learning to coexist with wildlife. Wildlife is important and fundamental to our future existence. We are transferring the kit to a rehabber who’s has a surrogate and she will be okay.
