Bobwhite, a rare patient for us to rehab, arrived from Floyd after striking a car. Thanks to Blue Ridge Veterinary Hospital for arranging transport to our facility.
Native quail have declined and are considered NT (near threatened). Many reasons have factored in the decline, from urbanization, agriculture to the use of pesticides.
