Patient 15-2016 arrived from Christiansburg after it was found in the parking lot at the Recreation Center and taken to a local vet. Hint, it had a difficult time walking and was not injured.Lauren Strong, Jonathan Clark, Meredith Penthorn and WCV are disqualified:-)

It is a female Ruddy Duck!
She was transferred this afternoon to the Wildlife Center. The WCV has a skimmer that keeps the water clean, which is necessary to keep her feathers clean and waterproof. The Ruddy duck needs to gain, she is 130 grams underweight.
