Great Horned Owl

Great Horned Owl arrived last night at the center at 10 PM. Our vet, Dr. Diane D’Orazio and intern Lydia Hoeppner triaged the patient. Prognosis is guarded; the owl has a swollen and infected foot. We do not know what caused the injury but suspect a bite.
The aroma of skunk is floating through the center . The owl was sprayed by a skunk!
