American Kestrels release

Dr. Diane D’Orazio releasing one of two American Kestrels in Roanoke this afternoon. Both kestrels were found on the sidewalk in downtown Roanoke in June and brought to SWVAWC. After initial care they were transferred to the Wildlife Center of VA. Finally, passing flight and mouse school they were transferred back today for release. Kudos to the WCV for such wonderful work.
