Red tailed hawk

Red tailed hawk found in a chicken coop and a chicken was missing. The hawk was unable to lift, which can happen after a large meal is consumed. Unfortunately, this large meal was her first in a long time evident from her prominent keel. Blood work determined further illnesses. Currently, the patient is under the care of Dr D’Orazio at our center. We hope the patient improves.
