owlet

Late this afternoon, this small and precious 25 gram owlet arrived. The tree he was nested in was cut down and he is the lone survivor. I am cautious on the owl’s outcome due to his/her age. He was cold and immediately regurgitated his last parental meal, which is not a good sign. The owl is now warm and keeping meals down, but the owlet is only days old and the fall is hard for such a young baby ….I am worried.
