First patient of 2015

First patient of 2015 is a Cooper’s Hawk. The patient has a fractured Coracoid. The vet and I splinted the wing, gave fluids and medicine.
The hawk was found standing on the front porch of a home on Dale Avenue. Judy and John went to rescue the hawk. He proved to still have fight and some flight. The bird sprinted around the grounds and across 4 lanes! More details will come later from Judy about her New Year’s Day exploits.
