Fox Squirrels continued

The Fox Squirrels are back. Shortly after Gary arrived and placed the squirrels in the box, clouds and light rain rolled in. Squirrels typically tuck in during weather. Gary still stayed for hours in hopes mom would come. Gary brought them back to Roanoke arriving at 8 PM after a 2 hour round trip. Gary is a hero for trying! He decided to try today, but I said no. It is possible that mom’s milk could be drying up. My heart is heavy but they will receive great care here. Caring for wildlife is heart wrenching.
