Barred Owl

May and October document the growth of the Barred Owl. The juvenile Barred Owl was rescued in May. The patient was brought to Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center for care. Our veterinarian checked the owl over and found the patient healthy. We transferred the owl to the Wildlife Center of VA for further care.
The Barred was transferred back to SWVA for release.
